A whole house update focused on replacing the outdated primary suite with a luxurious and soaring retreat.  The new entry and circulation throughout the house welcomes guests and brings order, where multiple poorly conceived remodels had left chaos.  A kitchen overhaul adds a long, beautiful island and reset the appliances to create a more generous, more comfortable and more beautiful space.  Converting the garden portal to a generous glassy dining room adds much needed space, and offers the best combination of protections and alfresco dining in the garden.  All new electrical and mechanical systems and a 12KW solar array greened the project reducing the fossil fuel use and carbon footprint to nearly zero.
